Thanks for the comments. We agree that the new product is not the only cause of all the problems that are pointed out in our articles. At our company, the new Trados product has had some drawbacks from the beginning and even though we are looking into ways to make the product more user-friendly to the end-user, we are focussing on solving some of the core problems with the product. However, on the plus side, we have been able to make quite some modifications and improvements to the product and the experience of using it, and with SDL Trados Studio 2015 we will continue to do just that. However, we do have some feedback from the community which will help us make further changes to the product in the coming months and years. Keep the feedback coming.

Thanks for the feedback The new version of Trados Studio 2015 SR2 is associated with the new release of the Trados SE 2017 v12.0.0. When you perform a standard upgrade from the previous version, the application will overwrite the existing version.
Like I mentioned earlier, I usually use Windows 7 to work with the software. The new Trados Studio 2015 SR2 version does not support Windows 7. I am using Windows 8.1. Can you pls confirm if this compatibility issue is a bug or an intended feature?
The program does not work on a new installation of Windows 8.1. The problem is in the file at: C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL Trados Studio 2015\bin\win10_SDLTm_v11.drschm_fake.x.dat For some reason the user mode file is missing.
Have you done a reboot, reinstall and clear your browser cache. Try to use the latest version. You can also uninstall the former version of Studio and install a fresh install from the installation DVD.
